Role
Who you are
- 6+ years of engineering management experience, preferably leading platform or infrastructure teams
- Strong technical background in Hardware bringup, diagnostics, Linux operating systems, system processes and networking
- Experience with VM-based infrastructure, customer-hosted applications, and lifecycle management
- Excellent project management skills, with ability to deliver complex initiatives across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success in developing and retaining technical talent

- We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the NGFW Platform Team responsible for building the next-generation firewalls(NGFW). NGFW is a proven industry leader
- This role requires strong leadership, platform development knowledge and strong cross-functional collaboration skills along with experience in systems, networking, and secure software delivery
- Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team building Hardware firewalls
- Drive architecture and defining the roadmap of Next generation firewalls
- Oversee the development of diagnostic software, kernel/user-space drivers, and other platform-level components
- Define and manage execution of technical roadmaps, working closely with product, security, and infrastructure teams
- Establish strong security engineering practices across platform components
- The manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality
- They work closely with other teams, including hardware, ASIC, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and deployment
- Support team growth through mentorship, coaching, and structured talent development
