Who you are
- This role is ideal for an early-career generalist and future founder who wants to work closely with the CEO in a fast-moving environment. You are likely a great fit if:

What the job involves
- Koppla is building the next-gen collaborative scheduling platform for construction
- Our goal is to become the operating system for construction planning: helping project teams coordinate work, identify delays early, and keep complex projects on track
- As a Founder’s Associate at koppla, you will work directly with our Founder & CEO on the highest-impact topics across the business
- Over the next 6–12 months, you will help us define the next stage of koppla by working on strategy, finance and operations topics
- Going forward we will find your path, seeing if you want to stay broad (future Chief of Staff, Operations Lead) or specialize into a role like GTM engineering
- In addition to supporting the Founder and owning day-to-day operational work, you will lead GTM & strategic projects end to end with real responsibility. Examples include:
- Strengthening our GTM engine by analyzing opportunities and introducing new tools
- Exploring new market segments and assessing the value of investing in them
- Kicking off international expansion by creating launch plans for new markets
- Revamping our pricing model by applying key learnings
Our take
Rarely does a construction site run smoothly, with countless obstacles appearing unexpectedly. koppla prepares workers for these surprises. A large construction site sees many different companies operating, which can become difficult for construction management and lead to higher costs due to longer construction times. By offering a digital and automate solution, koppla’s software helps management create faster, cheaper and more sustainable construction sites.
There are certainly other players in the construction site optimisation field, such as Munich’s Capmo and Berlin’s Cosuno. Though koppla is unique in its application of the lean methodology in the construction industry. Lean construction management has a reliable history, known for enabling more efficient planning and organisation and better on-site communication.
With funding under its belt, koppla is expanding the technical aspects of its model, as well as making new hires in the tech and sales department as it continues to ambitiously target the top 1,000 construction companies and real estate developers in DACH countries.
