Royalty Data Specialist, Duetti

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying anomalies
• Ability to balance accuracy with speed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

• Music royalty statements are one of the most important sources of information at Duetti. They directly impact how we evaluate opportunities, price catalogs, monitor portfolio performance, and make investment decisions
• As a Royalty Data Specialist, you will own one of Duetti’s most critical operational workflows: transforming raw royalty statements into reliable, structured, and actionable data
• This role combines analytics, operations, and process improvement
• You’ll work closely with Engineering, Research, Investment, Finance, and Product teams to continuously improve one of the core engines that powers Duetti
• Review, validate, and process music royalty statements from major distributors and DSPs
• Investigate inconsistencies, missing information, and data quality issues
• Transform complex financial reports into standardized datasets used throughout the company
• Build Python tools to automate repetitive workflows
• Identify opportunities to improve processing speed, accuracy, and scalability
• Work closely with engineers to build internal tools that streamline statement processing
• Collaborate with Investment and Research teams to ensure processed data supports pricing and underwriting decisions
• Monitor operational metrics and recommend improvements
• Help design new workflows as Duetti continues to scale
