Role
Who you are
- 3–5+ years of experience in B2B marketing operations
- Deep experience with GTM platforms including HubSpot, Salesforce, Clay, Chili Piper, and Outreach
- Working knowledge of lead lifecycle, funnel analytics, attribution modeling, and campaign instrumentation
- Ability to translate business questions into technical requirements and build the reporting infrastructure to answer them
- High attention to detail, a systems mindset, and a love for process improvement
- Working applications of incorporating AI into team workflows to automate manual work and increase team effectiveness
What the job involves
- Spacelift is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to architect and optimize the systems that fuel our lead generation, SDR integration, and pipeline analytics
- This is a newly created role within a fast-growing organization, designed to unify and elevate Marketing Operations as a strategic partner to GTM leadership across Sales, Marketing, and RevOps. It’s a perfect fit for someone who thrives on:
- Bringing clarity to go-to-market performance by connecting the dots across marketing, sales, and operations systems
- Automating manual work and exploring the use of AI for upskilling the team
- Driving accountability and performance by equipping teams with clear, data-backed insights
- Design and maintain automated lead routing, scoring, and enrichment workflows to support SDR productivity and ensure timely follow-up on high-intent leads
- Ensure team alignment on funnel metrics, SLAs, and attribution methodologies
- Identify trends and opportunities to optimize lead conversion and accelerate pipeline
- Monitor data quality and hygiene across marketing systems, developing and enforcing standards for enrichment, deduplication, and normalization
- Build and maintain dashboards and performance reports for marketing, SDRs, and leadership — surfacing insights into lead flow, channel effectiveness, SLA enforcement and campaign ROI
- Develop and maintain data governance, reporting, and workflows to improve efficiency
- Support campaign execution with scalable processes for tracking, attribution, and reporting across lifecycle stages
- Serve as a trusted advisor on marketing technology and operations best practices
- Ensure seamless integration of marketing tech stack, working cross-functionally with RevOps and Sales

Our take
As cloud-native development and DevOps continue to gain momentum, it’s also becoming more difficult to manage infrastructure, particularly for distributed teams in scaling companies.
Spacelift’s solution is an Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) platform, which allows for smooth management of multiple complex cloud infrastructures, and automation of manual tasks, which the company claims to result in greatly reduced outages and downtime.
Having launched in 2020, Spacelift has been quick to scale, running teams in California and Warsaw off the back of several rounds of funding. While there’s competition in the space, most notably from HashiCorp (which went public in late 2021), the fact that Spacelift has the likes of DocuSign, Figma, Checkout.com, and Lightspeed as customers shows that it’s doing plenty right.
