Role
Who you are
- We’re delighted to appoint a Talent Acquisition Partner who’s on the way up in their career and looking to make their mark and growing quickly
- You will love hunting for the best & brightest talent and through your outstanding business relationships, converting them into Cubicans (that’s what we call ourselves!)
- This means that you get to marry your relationship skills, curiosity, and a nose for talent with creating new and long-lasting Cubic relationships
- About three (3) years’ experience in recruitment preferably for technical roles
- You should be comfortable networking and making connections so we can build strong talent pools for now and the future
- It’s important that you can build strong and credible partnerships with the business. You should have demonstrated ability in listening, and challenging business needs and co-create strategies with managers
- Managing competing priorities is fundamental to this role so you should feel comfortable with variety, fast pace and have a flexible approach
- A focus on result is critical and you should thrive on getting stuff done
What the job involves
- Cubic are growing quickly. We’re building new teams, and, in this role, you will have an opportunity to work alongside our management teams to build the future of Cubic
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their requirements and establish exciting recruiting strategies for their role
- Support the manager through the entire life cycle of the recruiting process to ensure the best talent (culture and technical expertise) join our teams
- Apply innovative recruiting practices to target passive and active candidates and convert them into Cubic employees
- Take an active role in sourcing, pre-screening, and evaluating talent providing your insights to our management teams
- Maintain recruitment data and collaborate with hiring managers to continuously improve the recruitment experience for all stakeholders
- Partner with the leadership team members to identify areas for improvement in terms of recruitment engagement methodologies, processes, and procedures
- Contribute towards the development of our Employer Value Proposition

Cubic Telecom develops IoT-based global connected software that allows vehicles to automatically connect to local mobile networks. Since the company’s acquisition in 2008, Cubic has built up a strong customer base including Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Microsoft, Porsche, and Volkswagen.
Cubic’s IoT solutions have proven such a hit in the automotive, agricultural, and transportation industries because they allow vehicle and device manufacturers to avoid making agreements with multiple mobile service operators, solving tech complexities with integration, and worrying about compliance from country to country.
The connected car market, forecast to surpass $50B, highlights Cubic's strong position. SoftBank's recent €473M acquisition of a controlling stake values Cubic at over €900M. This strategic move positions Cubic to expand further, including plans to bolster staff numbers in Ireland, mainland Europe, and the US.
