Our take

YAGER is an independent game developer producing titles such as "The Cycle: Frontier" and "Spec Ops: The Line" for PC and console. Founded back in 1999, the company has designed and launched a number of games, with its acquisition by Tencent in 2021 granting access to the development resources that it needed to bring more ambitious offerings to life.

With the gaming space more populated than ever, YAGER can expect to face significant competition. That said, gaming has also never been more popular, which means the stage is open. Capitalizing on the momentum of "The Cycle" with further seasons, or perhaps launching an exciting new game, is all that YAGER needs to seize and hold a piece of the pie.
