Who you are
- At least two years of experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced environment, supporting a senior executive
- Heavy calendar, travel, and meeting planning experience
- Proven ability to successfully balance and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to anticipate the needs of leadership members before and during each workday
- Excellent judgment while handling highly confidential information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence, self awareness and professional maturity
- Excellent Mac skills
- Experience with Google Calendar and Google Meet video conferencing
- Experience organizing company events (preferred, not required)
What the job involves
- We are currently in search of an Executive Assistant to support members of our leadership team and help to manage an ongoing delightful experience for all NYC employees by providing operational support and helping maintain an inclusive and safe environment
- Own calendar management to ensure a productive workflow of the day's activities for leadership members
- Extensive scheduling (via Google Calendar), monitoring, and prioritizing of the day-to-day incoming communications
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, logistics, agendas, and communications
- Handle all travel arrangements including flights, hotels, ground transportation, etc
- Provide expense support (via Ramp)
- Greet and assist employees, candidates, and visitors to the NYC office
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors (food/beverage, repairs) on daily office maintenance and events. Keep the office stocked with food, snacks, and pantry essentials
- Help coordinate new-hire onboarding scheduling, first-day setup, and making sure new employees feel welcome from day one
- Support planning and execution of team events and offsites
- Assist with day-to-day benefits administration and serve as a friendly first point of contact for employee questions
- Help maintain office traditions and programs (happy hours, celebrations, milestones, recognition, etc.)
Our take
With around 70% of purchases driven by customer experience, call centers are an important part of many large companies' sales operations. But call centers have a problem retaining skilled agents, with high pressure and workloads leading to a turnover rate more than double other workforces. ASAPP is aiming to fix that by providing AI tools to support call center agents by reducing their data entry and reporting workload.
ASAPP is by no means alone in this space, with other startups such as Lang, Gong and Cogito entering the AI call-center market along with growing interest from giants such as Amazon and Google. But it's early start (ASAPP was founded in 2014) and focus on development of its NLP models gives it an edge that it seems set to retain, with a client base consisting of enterprise companies such as JetBlue, EY and American Airlines.
In 2024, ASAPP continued to lead the way in generative AI for contact centers, with the launch of its GenerativeAgent product, redefining customer service by automating 99% of interactions and boosting efficiency and satisfaction. With strong partnerships and a history of success, ASAPP is ready for even more growth.
