Systems Engineer, Ocuco

• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure roles, with exposure to cloud and enterprise environments
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including design, deployment, management and security controls
• Hands-on experience designing and managing at least one of these areas:
• Networking, including routing, VLAN, subnets, firewalls, switches, security, enterprise wireless, VPN, BGP
• Web server applications, such as IIS, Apache, RDS, AVD
• Azure automation and bulk management using scripting, configurations tools, policies
• Microsoft Windows Server, AD and Entra
• Excellent analysis, planning, organisation & prioritisation skills
• A conscientious and proactive approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• A collaborative approach, with a strong focus on contributing to and continuously improving the team

• Ocuco is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to work with our IT and Operations teams worldwide to develop, maintain and enhance Ocuco’s growing IT infrastructure
• The role supports the continued growth of the organisation by helping to deliver a secure, scalable and high-performing infrastructure across the group
• Reporting to the IT Manager, this role is based in Ocuco’s HQ and operates on a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office)
• Maintain, support and upgrade IT & Communications infrastructure & related software in-line with industry best-practice standards
• Maintain and enhance public and private Cloud infrastructure and applications
• Ensure infrastructure & process adherence to regulatory security requirements
• Research, test, plan & implement new technologies across the group
• Investigate, analyse & resolve system problems
• Provide escalation support to the Operations department for customer systems issues on an as-needs basis
