Construction work involving concrete typically requires manual monitoring, lab tests, waiting games and over-pouring. It’s inefficient, expensive and damaging to the environment. Converge’s flagship product helps to avoid all this.

It is able to use the data collected from its portfolio of projects to predict future concrete behaviour. London City Airport was the first commercial project that combined data including temperature readings from the concrete with local weather forecasts, to give a prediction of when the concrete will reach strength.

Converge's ambition is to reduce average cement content in concrete by 15%, estimating a 26 megaton carbon emissions reduction per year by 2030. It is currently expanding its suite of modules to include the optimisation of construction logistics and structural health.
