Who you are
- Profound experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing within an agile product development environment
- Motivation to encourage and accompany change
- Structured and analytical approach to problem-solving, complemented by creative, out-of-the-box thinking and a strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality outcomes
- Strong command of the English language. Any additional language is a plus
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with browser compatibility and browser developer tools
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and methodologies (Cypress, Playwright, BDD, Gherkin)
- Proficiency with tools like Postman and Fiddler
- Experience with XML-related technologies (XML, XSD, XSLT)
- SQL server proficiency
- Experience with Cloud and Serverless technologies (Microsoft Azure and AWS)
What the job involves
- Join our team as a (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer (m/f/d) and play a key role in creating high quality TecCom Portal and efficient development process
- Collaborating with a dedicated product development team - including testers, designers, DevOps, and developers across diverse skill levels - you'll ensure quality while we continue the journey towards high automation coverage
- You'll be designing, creating, adapting, and documenting the functional and non-functional test cases
- Setting up and maintaining test systems, with a focus on developing automated tests over time
- Conducting and managing various test activities for the TecCom portal, the front door to TecCom solutions, in an agile development environment
- Participate early in the development process to ensure the quality and usability of the product
- Drive test automation initiatives and advocate for automated testing

The TecAlliance data hub standardises data for all parts and makes this information readily available for sellers, centralises official repair and maintenance workflows for easy access, and provides automation tools for invoicing and data quality checks. Compared to in-house solutions this represents huge savings in time and labour, and allows for greatly improved customer service. TecAlliance counts numerous major firms among its clients including AutoDoc, Bosch and Shaeffler to name a few.
TecAlliance continues to develop its product with strategic acquisitions, for instance, JNPSoft, a major product information software provider in North America. It is expanding its network of partners and subsidiaries and investing in data research to improve the effectiveness of its product range.
