To provide breakthrough treatments for the one billion patients worldwide suffering from neurological illnesses.
Precision Neuroscience is finding new, practical ways of improving the lives of those who are suffering from neurological conditions.
The Layer 7 Cortical Interface is an implant that’s 1/5th the thickness of a human hair and can be fitted onto the human brain without damaging it. Through minimally invasive micro-slit surgery, the brain implant can process data and aims to move brain-computer interfaces (BCI) technology from small-scale research into a new era of worldwide usage.
The long-term goal of the Layer 7 Cortical Interface is to allow customers to interact with people and the world via digital means. Whilst the market is blooming with new companies exploring the possibilities of BCI technology, Precision has an advantage in that its solution requires minimal surgery and is reversible, meaning that it has wider implications than just neurological disorders.
Work is ongoing but with substantial funding behind it, Precision is using its investment to ramp up product development and FDA regulatory review as well as expanding its team.
