Who you are
- Have a solid development background with Go

What the job involves
- As a Senior Software Engineer within our Payments Platform team, you'll play a key role in both maintaining and developing our critical checkout, tax, and payment systems
- You'll take the lead on tasks related to discovering new features and planning their implementation
- Additionally, you'll be actively involved in new projects, providing valuable technical expertise and shaping the future of our payments platform
- This role will involve contributing to the maintenance and evolution of our backend services
- You'll be responsible for the development and improvement of Go services and our checkout service built with Laravel
- Develop high traffic APIs used by hundreds of thousands users per month
- Engineer high-performance background workers for consuming queues
- Practise DevOps, you’re responsible for getting your code to production and supporting it
- Use the latest AWS services available to run your code
- Help design a stable platform to support phenomenal growth
- Mentoring and coaching other engineers
- Play a part in an agile team, either kanban or scrum as needed
