- The Strategic AE must excel at navigating multi-stakeholder environments, managing complex sales cycles, and leveraging internal and external resources to achieve measurable success

- Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Proven ability to manage pipelines effectively while maintaining accurate forecasts
What the job involves
- This individual will manage a select portfolio of high-value, complex enterprise accounts, including both existing customers and new logos
- They will build meaningful executive relationships, develop and execute strategic account plans, and drive ARR growth by expanding product adoption and delivering exceptional customer value
- Leads impactful conversations across all organizational levels, from C-level executives to practitioners
- Takes responsibility for driving outcomes and aligning resources, ensures accountability and consistently delivers results
- Builds trust-based relationships with customers, internal teams, and third-party stakeholders by consistently delivering value and prioritizing customer needs in every decision
- Stays ahead of industry trends and competitors while mastering Amplitude's products to position solutions effectively within accounts
- Leverages curiosity to drive deeper customer engagement, uncover valuable insights, and tailor solutions that address critical business needs—often understanding customer challenges and goals better than the customers themselves
- Maintains a relentless commitment to excellence in every aspect of the role—from building executive relationships to driving revenue growth—ensuring credibility and trust with customers and internal teams

Our take
Amplitude provides product analytics to help companies understand user behaviour. Product, marketing, and growth teams use Amplitude to discover and share insights about user engagement, retention, and revenue.
Amplitude’s user flows reveal which actions are the most commonly taken after users sign up, and which usually precede purchases made in-app, creating paths through the app. The behaviour of individual app users can be viewed with unlimited real-time activity feeds and user timelines.
Thousands of companies use Amplitude analytics including Microsoft, Under Armour, Intuit, Twitter, Bonobos, Peloton, and many more. In 2024, a securities fraud case was filed against Amplitude due to an IPO and stock share rise that was alleged to be artificially inflated before their downturn in 2022. Whilst this case is ongoing, Amplitude is still releasing new products and operating at full capacity.
