Senior Product Manager, Fastly

• 5+ years of product management experience in a software development-focused field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud services and/or related technologies and businesses
• Experience in building data products with demonstrable expertise in analytics and insights and a strong understanding of their interconnectivity
• Experience with end-to-end performance monitoring and knowledge of real user monitoring products
• Experience with distributed tracing technology and its associated products
• A strong technical background and familiarity with monitoring and observability solutions such as Grafana, Splunk, and Datadog, whether as a user or a creator
• A positive, get-stuff-done, curious and collaborative nature that thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to make decisions based on research and analysis
• Familiarity with the technical and business aspects associated with the three pillars of observability

• Fastly is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Observability Product team who will be responsible for managing, shaping and delivering the future of our Observability Products
• This role reports to the Head of Product, Observability Products
• In this role, you will work alongside our Observability product managers and closely with product teams across our Network Services, Compute, and Security product lines to deliver unified visibility and insights across our Observability Products
• Create and manage new products for customers, partnerships, and integrations that utilize our real-time metrics, logging, and tracing abilities
• Collaborate with product managers across our Network Services, Compute, and Security departments to unify all data sources into one observability platform
• Define and deliver a compelling roadmap to meet our data unification strategy
• Work closely with the Head of Product of the Observability Product Team to ensure consistency, drive product goals/shared objectives, and continuously improve product management across the division
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of your products, initiatives and technologies
• Define and monitor product success metrics using data-driven goals and be able to combine these to tell meaningful ‘stories’ about your product area
• Collaboratively lead cross-functional and distributed teams by building trusted working relationships throughout the company, at all levels of the organizations
• Be the champion for our customers’ interests internally, making and influencing decisions about product features, priorities, functionality, and user experiences with the goal of increasing customer value always at the center
