Role
Who you are
- Previous experience in an HR generalist position, (Advisory or Partner level), ideally in a role where you managed employee relations issues with minimal supervision
- Experience in partnering with leaders at all levels to develop, motivate and coach their team members
- Proven experience supporting or leading the planning, design and delivery of cross functional initiatives
- An analytical mindset, capable of getting into detail with people data to analyse trends
- Ability to develop trusted relationships, build credibility and influence stakeholders in a hybrid working environment
- High levels of emotional intelligence and ability to work well with a wide range of people. Exceptional oral and written communication, listening and presentation skills
- Excellent judgement and problem-solving and conflict management skills
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a People Business Partner to join our People team on a 9-month Fixed term contract. This role will play a key part in driving change and engagement during a transformational period for Thredd
- You’ll be at the heart of delivering results by partnering with senior stakeholders and supporting colleagues. Leading on both People initiatives and employee relations within your business area, you’ll help to support and grow Thredd on its journey
- Consulting managers on employee relations topics and managing all employee relations and change processes end-to-end
- Taking the lead on designing and implementing a range of business wide People projects and drive engagement activities
- Supporting with the organisation and administration of learning and development and talent management programmes
- Proactively suggest new and improved ways of working
- Diagnose critical issues affecting your business function and design appropriate solutions

This diverse offering across high-growth fintech sectors has helped Thredd draw in hefty funding, and key clients across the key fintech markets of Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East, including Revolut, Curve, Cape, and Starling Bank.
This shows quite how far Thredd has managed to capture significant market penetration, which has given it the resources to continue building out key new products. With more non-fintech businesses looking to leverage the benefits of embedded banking, this could see Thredd expand into further markets such as insurance and loans. Certainly, Thredd has both the momentum and the valuation to take the plunge into other lucrative verticals.
