Who you are
- Strategic and visionary while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed
- Exceptional client relationship management skills, particularly at the C-level
- Analytical and data-driven, with a focus on maximising client value and profitability
- Strong leadership abilities, fostering collaboration and excellence within the account team
- Minimum 6 years in account management, client success, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing large, strategic client relationships
- Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and forming long-term strategic partnerships
- Experience in navigating complex client environments, particularly within government, defence, or similarly high-value sectors
- Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in contract negotiations and account profitability analysis
- Experience in account management within the fields of data, digital, cloud, and AI
- Experience working within a consulting environment, with a strong understanding of client needs and delivery
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing account management teams
What the job involves
- Lead the strategic direction for major and high-value accounts, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability, with a focus on government and defence clients
- Oversee and mentor Account Managers, driving consistency in client management and embedding best practices across the team
- Manage the account team across consulting, talent, and operations functions to deliver account goals and exceed client expectations
- Develop and implement long-term account strategies to maximise client retention, growth, and satisfaction, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical client issues and complex negotiations, including contract renewals, service expansions, and pricing discussions
- Build and nurture C-level relationships with key clients to foster trust and identify opportunities for broader service offerings
- Drive business development efforts by identifying strategic opportunities within existing clients and supporting the team in developing new partnerships or service lines
