Role
Who you are
- A successful Account Manager will demonstrate a strong track record of success
- Our ideal candidate will be experienced in sales and customer service
- We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach
- BSc or BA in business administration, sales, marketing and/or relevant experience
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar business sales/customer service role (1-5 years)
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
Desirable
- Experience in commodities sector
- Experience in the satellite and/or geospatial industry
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and organization
- Outstanding knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills

What the job involves
- We are looking for an attentive and driven Account Manager to join our team
- You should desire to understand your customers' needs and how our data and insights can improve their organizations
- This position will report directly to the VP of Commercial and work closely with our Sales Team
- Communicating with clients and gathering information about a project’s scope, budgets and timelines
- Maintain relationships with accounts
- Meeting with internal teams to discuss clients’ project goals, progress and outcomes
- Developing budgets and timelines for clients
- Coordinating teams to meet project milestones
- Reporting and recording all sales activities in Hubspot
- Qualifying inbound leads and prospects
- Organizing regular client meetings to ensure excellent customer service and retention
- Prospecting new sales
- Prepare and present proposals and bids
- Negotiating terms and conditions with clients
- Collaborating with key decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas to expand growth in accounts
- Attending trade shows and events
- Based on the needs of the company, you may be required to work occasional nights and weekends
- All other duties as assigned

Using over bank of over 16 million images of the earth, the applications of Ursa’s data are manifold - tracking logistics, weather, climate reporting, security intelligence, and plenty more. While a lot of business have their own data analysis capabilities, access to the data Ursa provides is obviously difficult to come by, which is was sets Ursa Space Systems out from the crowd.
Its a leading player in its corner of the market, and its recent funding acquisition is being used to expand its capabilities to better support emerging markets for this kind of data, like supply chain optimization, logistics, and insurance.
