Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience
- 2 years of experience taking products from conception to launch
- Experience working with and balancing the needs of a wide variety of stakeholders
- User-focused and is able to understand a wide range of user personas
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for learning and ability to ramp quickly on new and potentially complicated domains
- Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrency, financial markets, and the Coinbase mission
- Invests in building to “institutional grade”, e.g. with reliability, scale and risk (whether reputational, market, credit, legal, compliance, tax, operational, or financial) mitigation explicitly in mind
- Establishes very close working relationships with STP and IOS partners, and jointly and ruthlessly executes towards commercial goals
- Ability to bridge cryptocurrency and financial market primitives to innovate to client or business solutions
Desirable
- Experience building for customers that are (often large) institutions, including corporates, asset managers, hedge funds, market makers, and VCs, and appreciation of the topology of sub-user types (e.g. trader, operations, financial controller etc.) within
- Familiarity across a range of financial services products, including trading, financing, payments, custody, or other
- Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services

- Coinbase Product Managers play a critical role in building the next generation of crypto products
- You will work closely with engineering, design and cross-functional teams to build products and new experiences
- You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of cryptocurrency and help us achieve our mission of creating an open financial system for the world
- Owns all facets of a product area from crafting the vision and strategy to executing
- Develops solutions to problems by collaborating and leading across regions, product areas, and functions as needed
- Define OKRs for multiple teams and drive collaboration with cross functional partners during product development to achieve these goals
- Lead efforts to identify, define, collect, and track appropriate metrics (both quantitative and qualitative) for new or existing products areas
- Effectively balance and prioritize across all stakeholder objectives
- Secure buy-in, rigorously prioritize, and drive development for a multi-year product vision that crafts an overall product narrative and direction

With features like crypto wallets, direct bank account linking, and merchant payment tools, it's helping bring crypto into the mainstream. But the company isn't just relying on its early success, it's evolving fast to stay relevant in a rapidly changing market.
Lately, its doubled down on its focus on institutional clients, now serving as the custodian for the majority of approved Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, and its Prime platform offers a full suite of services for hedge funds, asset managers, and financial institutions. As demand for regulated crypto products rise globally (particularly in Asia), Coinbase is ready to expand.
And it's even making moves to engage with younger audiences, having recently partnered with Riot Games to sponsor global eSports events for League of Legends and Valorant.
