Role
Who you are
- If you have strong big data skills, curiosity about security, and enjoy connecting the dots between data and strategy, then this role is for you
- Strong background in big data analytics, content research, or data science, ideally with 7+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and distributed data tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, etc.)
- Experience working with large, noisy datasets and turning them into actionable insights
- Comfort with both batch and streaming pipelines
- Curiosity about cybersecurity (malware, EDR, threats, etc.). No deep expertise required, but a willingness to learn is critical
- Great communication skills and a proactive mindset. You’ll have autonomy, but also need to collaborate across functions
What the job involves
- In this highly exploratory role, you'll dive into massive datasets across EDR, behavioral signals, malware telemetry, and network traffic to uncover insights, prototype decision-making systems, and directly shape our product’s defenses
- This isn’t a rigid pipeline or BI dashboard role
- You’ll have the independence to explore new ideas, run your own POCs, and drive real-world impact
- Ingest, clean, correlate, and analyze large-scale security datasets from endpoints, networks, and behavioral sources
- Prototype and test analytics that drive detection, classification, or prevention decisions
- Collaborate with security researchers, engineers, and product teams to integrate findings into the product
- Explore new data sources and define what should be collected to increase intelligence value
- Work across batch and streaming data pipelines to support both long-term analysis and near-real-time signals
- Build dashboards or visualizations to communicate insights (internally or externally)
