Who you are

1+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, account receivables, or similar roles
Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
ERP Experience: Familiarity with Netsuite is preferred, but exposure to similar ERP systems is also valuable
Experience with P2P systems such as ZIP HQ, Tipalti, or Coupa is considered a bonus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels across the organization
You are looking to be in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and grow
Prior experience working in a startup environment

What the job involves

As Ada’s Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist, you will report directly to the Financial Operations Manager and play a role in executing and optimizing our daily financial operations
In this position, you will manage essential tasks across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and procurement, ensuring that all financial transactions are processed efficiently and in full compliance with our policies
Process invoices, ensure timely approvals, and manage vendor payments
Addressing payment discrepancies (e.g., duplicate invoices, statement reconciliation)
Reconciliation of Expense and Travel Reimbursements
Management of Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable mailboxes
Assist in processing customer invoices and tracking incoming payments
Help maintain accurate records and support the collection process
Help document procurement procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
Assist with month-end processing and accurate recording of financial transactions
