What the job involves

The Summer Business Development Intern will assist the Global Programs Unit by supporting the BD team with partnership coordination, data maintenance, research on prospective donors and other duties as assigned
The intern will contribute to specific projects under the supervision of the Senior Manager for Global Government Partnerships
Conduct background research on prospective donors, funding trends, potential strategic partnerships with other NGOs, and funding streams
Assist with data entry and maintenance in Salesforce
Participate in external events and circulate take-aways
Compile information about potential NGO and funding partners for Country offices
Support business development team in file and relationship management
Liaise with other departments such as marketing, development and communications
Participate in related internal and external meetings and conduct follow-up
Support the creation of business development materials to provide potential partners during the cultivation stage including but not limited to one pagers, overview documents, and other support materials
Scheduling meetings with potential partners and capturing meeting minutes and due-outs
Event management support for any business development cultivation events
Other duties as assigned
