5+ years previous relevant experience in the client coverage portion of the asset management industry
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, CFA and MBA is a plus
Relationships with institutional asset owners and their consultants/advisors

What the job involves

DWS is seeking an Institutional Coverage professional to help cover a region as part of the Corporate Coverage Institutional team
You will be part of a deep U.S. institutional coverage team that includes relationship managers, investment specialists and client service and support groups
Clients and prospects covered include corporate treasury teams, corporate endowments & foundations and other institutional investors
Our client base has a strong footprint in Fixed Income and Alternative Investments, although the team is responsible for growing our business broadly across the active, passive and alternative asset classes
Primarily responsible for acquiring new institutional clients as well as additional revenues from an existing client base
Intensely focused on asset owners and the consultants who advise them; you are self-motivated and have a strong history in, and knowledge of the institutional marketplace, particularly corporate balance sheets, endowments, and foundations
Developing business and maintaining relationships with the institutional client base in the US
Closing business and maintaining relationships with the targeted or similar institutional client base
Knowledgeable of investment products, investor demands, and industry regulations

Our take

Deutsche Bank is one of Europe's biggest banks, operating in around 60 countries. It has a long history but hasn't struggled to keep up with the changing times. Like launching Vert, a digital payments service for small and medium businesses, and focusing on investments that are good for the environment and society.

The banks performance in 2025 has been impressive too. In the first nine months, pre-tax profit reached €7.7B (up 64% from last year) and net profit climbed to €5.6B (a 76% increase). And all business divisions delivered double-digit profit growth, supported by revenue gains and disciplined cost management.
