What the job involves
- Warby Parker is on the lookout for an energetic, Talent Acquisition Partner to join a team that helps bring the absolute best talent to Warby Parker (kind of like you!). In this fun, fast-paced role, you’ll manage the full-cycle hiring process for an ever-growing number of roles across our organization. Sound cool? Read on!
- Search for and recruit a diverse talent pipeline while being a brand ambassador for the company
- Work with the hiring team to ensure that the interview process runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing specifically on the candidate's experience
- Act as brand ambassador at school & industry events that help introduce Warby Parker to incredible talent
- Ability to work well in a team environment and build effective relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional partners to ensure alignment of the recruitment process, along with providing search status updates and work in process
- Work with hiring managers to create job descriptions hiring plans, and interview teams
- Post roles on external job boards to attract talent for open roles
- Provide updates to your hiring manager and hiring team on roles
- Track and report on key metrics for your open roles
- Maintain a pipeline of candidates for future needs
- Contribute to and provide feedback on short-term and long-term recruitment strategies
- Assist in researching competitive and labor market trends
- Contribute to the development of recruitment communication material including social media
- Support ad hoc projects throughout the year

They say every great idea starts with a problem, and Warby Parker kept it simple - glasses were just too expensive. Inspired by the need to have great-looking frames that didn’t break the bank, the co-founders set out to disrupt the legacy-dominated eyewear market.
Going up against Luxottica was no easy feat. They are the name behind Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Persol, as well as licence holders with Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and many more. However, by circumventing traditional manufacturing methods, using in-house design, and engaging with customers directly, Warby Parker was able to provide high-quality and good-looking prescription glasses at a fraction of the cost.
The company's retail category disruption has led to it being one of the most successful direct-to-consumer brands of the early 21st century. Late 2021 saw Warby Parker debut an initial public offering (IPO), giving it the liquidity for the 10% footprint increase without stressing cash flow. Since then, it has found continued success and made a number of fund raises and high-profile collaborations to raise brand awareness and bring its affordable, stylish glasses to even more consumers.
