Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have outstanding organisational skills as well as high attention to detail
- This individual will have a passion for delivering excellent experiences for our current and future employees
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Consistent attention to detail and accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional maturity and discretion when dealing with personal and sensitive data
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace, including Excel/Sheets
- Previous experience in an HR / People / Recruitment role, preferably in a retail or start-up environment is advantageous but not essential
- Experience using an ATS (such as Workable) or HRIS (such as Charlie HR) is advantageous but not essential
What the job involves
- Admin support for People related queries throughout the employee lifecycle, including supporting management with probation processes, holiday requests, ER issues and resignation protocols
- On-board new joiners, with the preparation of contracts, processing new starter documentation, monitor work permits/visas, right to work and coordinating induction plans
- Liaise with Payroll Team, to ensure the timely processing of payroll activities
- Co-chair our culture club meetings, bringing enthusiasm and ideas for the next big event or social
- Contribute to the continued success of all People projects for the business
- Screen CV’s and shortlist exceptional candidates for multiple open positions at one time
- Organise, schedule and conduct phone interviews with candidates across many departments at Skin + Me including: Retail Stores, Operations and Customer Service
- Support hiring managers with interview calendar management and communication with candidates to ensure the hiring process is efficient
- Represent and communicate our Skin + Me values to provide an excellent candidate experience to all
- Hybrid working to give you flexibility – We are all remote on Wednesday and Thursday. When we are in the office on Monday, Tuesday and Friday our core hours are 10-4. If you're an early bird you can do 7-4, and if you're a night owl 10-7 is fine too. Need more flexibility around your life – just let us know

Back in 2018, Skin + Me's founders identified a huge problem in the world of skincare: people don’t just struggle with their skin – they struggle with how they’re supposed to deal with it. With no truly effective solutions available, the company set out to build a pioneering online dermatology service that provides personalised skincare.
Skin + Me takes customers through a simple online medical consultation and work with dermatologists to prescribe a treatment, personalised to the individual. Part of the company's unique selling point is that its made-to-order formulation arrives through a subscription box each month and comes in a ‘Daily Doser’ – a specially designed bottle that dispenses the exact amount of the product needed for daily application.
Skin + Me is supported by a team of dermatologists, pharmacists and direct-to-consumer experts, which allows it to deliver across the business - from skin science to building the technology platform behind it. The company's growth plans include continual development of its services while ensuring it sticks to its ethos: providing desired, effective, and personalised skincare.
