Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of B2B marketing (ops) experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or payments, with a focus on sales enablement, partnerships and event marketing
- Proven success launching go-to-market campaigns, managing cross-channel initiatives, and owning lead-gen KPIs
- Strong grasp of marketing tools, CRM, and marketing automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and an ability to adapt content for different formats and personas
- Experience with performance marketing is a strong plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action; you thrive in a test-and-learn environment
- Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, remote-friendly startup environment
- Authorization to work in the United States; based in or willing to relocate to New York
What the job involves
- We operate an outbound-driven GTM motion and are looking for a (Senior) Marketing Operations Manager, US (m/f/d) to build and scale the marketing engine behind it
- In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of marketing operations—spanning processes, data, automation, and tooling—and performance marketing, including paid acquisition, ABM, and lifecycle growth
- Your mission: ensure every campaign, channel, and SDR sequence runs on clean data, integrated tech, and actionable insights—all to drive a high-quality pipeline at scale
- Marketing Operations (≈ 50 %)
- Architect, administer, and continuously optimize our revenue tech stack (HubSpot, GA4, DreamData, etc.)
- Design end‑to‑end lead‑management and scoring flows that ensure airtight hand‑offs to Sales
- Implement and operationalize intent and signal tools (e.g. 6sense, Bombora, Demandbase) to surface the right accounts at the right time
- Own data hygiene, enrichment, and attribution modeling; partner with RevOps to maintain a single source of truth
- Build dashboards and automate reporting that give Marketing & Sales instant visibility into funnel health and campaign performance
- Performance & Growth Marketing (≈ 35 %)
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid programs across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, programmatic, and emerging channels
- Develop outbound‑aligned, multi‑touch ABM plays targeting our ICP across the buyer journey
- Run growth experiments (A/B, multivariate) to improve conversion and lower CAC across web, landing pages, and nurture sequences
- Collaborate with Content & Design on creative, messaging, and offers tailored to segment and intent stage
- Cross‑Functional Enablement (≈ 15 %)
- Partner daily with RevOps & Sales to translate intent data into outreach cadences that convert
- Forecast pipeline impacts, budget allocation, and ROI for quarterly planning

The corporate credit card industry, historically dominated by giants like AmEx, has seen rapid disruption and growth over recent years. An influx of VC investment boosted smaller outfits like Divvy and Brex Inc. to multi-billion dollar operations, and this has cracked open the market to a host of smaller fintech startups.
Pliant is a German company entering the scene, but it’s a competitive one. It's hoping to stand out by prioritising seamless software integrations, competitive cashback, and a new optional feature offsetting travel-related CO2 emissions. The latter is incredibly novel and has undoubtedly won the company some press in an increasingly sustainability-oriented climate.
Pliant’s offering of both physical and digital cards, as well as its suite of advantages and services, has enabled the company to successfully adapt to the growing payments market. The company has, thus far, entered seven additional European markets and expanded its customer portfolio sixfold. Following successful funding rounds, Pliant is set to further expand operations and its business reach, with a focus on the US.
