Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally selling to SMBs
- Proven track record of closing deals, especially with a focus on securing net-new logos
- Experience with outreach strategies, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, software development, or testing markets is a plus
- Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with sales frameworks like MEDDIC/MEDDPIC is advantageous
- Enthusiastic about joining a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every deal makes a significant impact
What the job involves
- As we scale our SMB-focused go-to-market strategy, we're seeking a driven Inside Sales Representative to focus on net-new logo acquisition. In this role, you'll own the sales process end-to-end, from prospecting and initial outreach to closing deals, helping mabl expand its footprint in the SMB market
- Identify and engage SMB prospects through proactive outreach via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Collaborate with the marketing team to work on inbound leads, ensuring SLAs are met and leads are effectively progressed through the sales funnel to generate revenue
- Develop opportunities and close new SMB accounts, with a strong focus on net-new logo acquisition
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to SMB needs
- Assist clients with ROI calculations, providing clear value propositions and justifications for investing in mabl’s platform
- Collaborate with prospects to understand their technical and business requirements
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through strategic prospecting and nurturing
- Stay informed about mabl's offerings, industry trends, and competitors to position our value effectively
- Accurately document all sales activities and pipeline progress in Salesforce
Our take
The quickening pace of tech development over recent years has led to lengthy testing and code review backlogs. This is an issue for quality engineers, both in terms of operational efficacy and security. Mabl’s solution is to provide an accessible and integrated framework that allows more teams to carry out testing, more reliably, and at greater speed.
The gamut of testing mabl offers runs from API, to low-code, to auto-healing, to mobile. So it’s an impressively broad sweep, and it’s helped mabl land top-tier clients including Barracuda, jetBlue, and Stack Overflow. With more companies beginning to adopt automated testing tools, the market is expected to grow substantially, and with its stable position, mabl should be able to ride the swell.
Mabl will, however, need to stay ahead of the flurry of new competitors like Testim, Mesmer, and Virtuoso. It’s making smart steps to do so: with a number of recent achievements, including launching AI-powered, low-code mobile app testing. This is likely to prove appealing to the growing number of companies looking to streamline their mobile app testing processes.
