Who you are
- You have exceptional problem solving & analytical skills and love tackling complex challenges with data-driven solutions

- 9+ years of finance experience, including a combination of investment banking, investing (venture capital or private equity), and in-house operating experience at a technology company; MBA, management consulting, and/or Saas/FinTech experience preferred
- 4+ years of Sales finance experience, partnering with CRO / VP of Sales
- Proven ability to partner with all levels of management to guide strategic decision making; ability to apply both financial and operational lenses
- Ability to think strategically, along with a willingness to get into the weeds
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical toolkit, and experience building and owning financial models
- Entrepreneurial builder, who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment
What the job involves
- Brightwheel is seeking a talented strategic finance leader to play an essential role in our next stage of growth
- You will be responsible for driving decision-making on our most critical areas of go-to-market growth across the business
- Serve as a key financial advisor and thought partner to executive stakeholders across Sales and Marketing
- Steer our GTM strategy by delivering actionable financial insights and analyses to identify key areas of opportunity in our go-to-market motion to drive top line growth for maximum impact on the business
- Collaborate with Sales leadership drive performance improvements across the entire GTM funnel
- Build the next iteration of our compensation plans, policy designs and procedures by partnering across Finance, Sales Ops and People to maximize performance
- Lead the budgeting and planning process for all GTM departments. Ensure alignment between GTM strategy and financial goals, identifying areas for optimization and improvement
- Work closely with Corporate F&S, accounting, and operations to streamline reporting processes and align on key financial metrics

Its platform helps increase parental and teacher engagement with students everyday, while helping small education businesses save money, time, and to grow.
Brightwheel is carving out a name for itself as a service valuable for its exciting and useful new updates. They were quick to adapt to school closures by offering distance learning capabilities and health testing. They also cater to childcare in lower-income areas with their freemium model. Since their $55 million funding round, if it remains on this course of steady, popular development and wide uptake, Brightwheel will likely achieve its goal of going public in a few years time.
