Who you are
- Experience working in game marketing, preferably working in F2P mobile or GAAS model businesses
- Budget management experience in developing multi-channel marketing strategies and initiatives, and be able to clearly present ROI/outcomes
- Highly organised and process driven, able to optimise existing processes and introduce new processes where necessary
- Creative mindset, able to think ‘outside the box’ and come up with novel solutions
- Excellent organisational, project management and written / verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of competitor marketing initiatives and a desire to take Hutch to the next level
- A diplomatic and professional approach, able to gather and share information in an energetic and inclusive manner, while dealing effectively with challenging situations
What the job involves
- Hutch is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help develop and execute the marketing strategy for Hutch’s games portfolio
- Working as part of a cross-discipline team with Social Media, Community, Influencer and Consumer Insight managers, you’ll act as a central coordinator for all marketing activity at Hutch, ensuring alignment between product goals and focuses at all times
- Working with Game Directors, Creative Directors, Consumer Insights, and Senior Product Marketing Manager to execute marketing strategies for our games that outline the target audience, target channels, visual style guide and tone of voice of our marketing efforts - ensure this strategy is rolled out to all marketing disciplines (social, community, influencer, performance, ASO)
- Maintain a central marketing calendar for all games (live and in development, outlining key milestones, marketing beats and opportunities
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns with clear hypothesised outcomes, KPIs and ROIs and act as the central coordinator of all channel activity
- Maintain a strong understanding of our own games as well as the competitive landscape, from smaller independent studios to larger publishers, and use this information to help inform decisions across marketing and game teams
- Own the creation of the marketing asset pack for each game, coordinating with game teams, performance marketing, app store optimisation (ASO) and creative services to ensure the pack meets their needs and adheres to the visual and tonal standards for the game
- Regularly present plans to the studio, acting as an evangelist for Product Marketing across relevant working groups
- Regularly report on KPIs such as market share growth vs. competitors and installs / impressions driven by platform featuring & other campaigns
- Act as the central points of contact for platforms (Apple and Google), ensuring Hutch’s game portfolio is well represented and regularly featured in app stores
- Work with the licensing team to drive promotional initiatives with key strategic partners, leveraging agreements to maximise value across our marketing channels for the relevant game titles
- Work closely with our PR agency on the game’s PR strategy, ensuring a clear roadmap of PR beats with expected outcomes/KPIs
- Hutch is now a 4-Day Work Week company
