Who you are
- We’re looking for enthusiastic and ambitious people to join our talented team
- To be successful, you must have existing relationships with senior stakeholders at agencies and brands, as you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle for the Fanhub Platform across your designated opportunities
- Proven success in selling DSP platforms to Brands and Agencies
- 8+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a track record of driving revenue growth within the digital advertising industry
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and build rapport with clients at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and drive business growth
- Proficiency in sales CRM systems, ad tech, and analytics tools
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving change in the advertising industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
What the job involves
- Genius Sports are the leading sports-focused Demand Side Platform (DSP) that specializes in connecting advertisers with premium inventory and audiences across sports. We are looking to further accelerate our sales efforts with brands and agencies who want a new way to reach and monetize sports fans through our platform
- As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for selling the Fanhub Self-Service Programmatic Platform directly to brands and their agencies across EMEA, there will also be a target of selling our Managed Service Programmatic and Social Media services as part of the role
- Identify and cultivate new revenue streams by engaging directly with Brands and their agencies. Demonstrate expertise in our the Fanhub platform’s capabilities, including key market differentiators
- Secure new ad agency and Brands leads for our Fanhub media activation platform.Schedule and conduct meetings with key decision-makers at advertising agencies and brands direct
- Demonstrate the value of the Fanhub media buying platform through detailed product presentations and demonstrations
- Implement a strategic plan to achieve revenue objectives
- Effectively manage your pipeline of opportunities within Salesforce and provide regular progress reports to the leadership team
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies in sports advertising to inform strategic decision-making and sustain our competitive advantage
- Attend industry conferences to actively pursue new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential partners
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at Genius Sports, including product, marketing, and operations, to optimize revenue streams, refine product offerings, and introduce innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of advertisers
