Role
Who you are
- Experience in sponsorship and partnership marketing, ideally within the financial or professional services industry
- Experience developing and executing successful sponsorship and partnership programmes
- Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in SalesForce, Pardot and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
What the job involves
- The Events and Sponsorship Manager is key to developing and executing third-party event programs that align with Preqin's business objectives and enhance our brand presence and awareness within the Alternatives industry
- Reporting to the Head of Events Marketing, the Events and Sponsorship Manager will work as part of a busy global events team, taking responsibility for supporting our US and EMEA-sponsored events programme
- Develop a comprehensive sponsorship strategy aligned with business and marketing goals for the EMEA and US regions
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential sponsorships and conferences, evaluating value propositions and negotiating contract terms to maximize sponsored events ROI
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key conference organizers and partners
- Develop and manage sponsorship budgets for sponsored events ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a focus on cost-effectiveness
- Develop and execute targeted marketing and promotional campaigns to improve brand visibility at key industry conferences
- Manage social media campaigns to support event participation and brand messaging
- Negotiate and secure sponsorship and partnership agreements that deliver measurable results
- Oversee the planning, logistics, and execution of sponsored events within the third-party portfolio
