Who you are

2-5 years of experience in B2B software sales, with a focus on data warehouse, cloud infrastructure, or related technologies
Proven success in multiple quota carrying roles in software sales - Cloud, AI, SaaS
Proven success selling into digital-native companies, including AI, SaaS, fintech, gaming, adtech, and startups
Knowledge of data warehouse technologies and cloud computing
A deep understanding of the US market and the ability to navigate the diverse business landscape
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with customers
A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive our business growth across US
As an early member of our team, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, representing Firebolt to digital-native companies, and contributing to our go-to-market strategy across the region
About the day to day
Develop and execute a territory plan targeting digital-native high tech organizations, including AI, Saas, ISVs, Gaming, Fintech, Adtech, and other fast-growing industries across US
Build relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations, including engineering and IT leaders
Lead the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing, ensuring a high-touch and consultative approach
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, SDRs, and product, to generate leads and build pipeline
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and articulate Firebolt’s unique value proposition to potential customers
Provide insights into market trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs to shape our go-to-market strategy in US
Represent Firebolt at industry events, conferences, and meetups to build awareness and network with potential customers
This is a quota carrying role and you will carry a quota for Bookings, Consumption and New customers

Our take

Firebolt is a data storage company that works with big tech and corporations to help store and analyse the massive amounts of data that the tech industry amasses. Whilst the norm might be for companies to use several data storage services to look after their information, Firebolt offers an all-in-one package that it claims to be a “new kind of cloud data warehouse”.

Firebolt is not without competitors though. Having only emerged from stealth in 2020, the company competes against legacy data storage leaders Snowflake and BigQuery. But with such a huge injection of funding and influential ex-Google engineer Mosha Pasumansky as its CTO, Firebolt is making a name for itself.
