Role
Who you are
- 15+ years of product management or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (MBA, MA or MS) preferred
- Extensive experience in conceptualizing, defining and creating best in class payment and data products
- Experience in FinTech / online payments space, ideally in payments
- An obsession with delighting users
- Ability to apply product design and prioritization frameworks, as well as metrics into the design and decision-making process
- Adept at working in the details and steering strategic initiatives
- Ability to prioritize and make mission-critical decisions with limited information
- Adept in Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Effective cross-functional leader Experience working in a fast-moving startup
- Experience defining and operationalizing processes

- Elevate your career as the VP, Product Management - Core Products at Trustly. Take charge of crafting the strategic direction and advancing the evolution of our core payment and data product lineup
- Harnessing Trustly’s cutting-edge Open Banking platform and other key resources, you'll lead the charge in delivering innovative bank-initiated payment and data solutions
- Oin us in shaping the future of fintech
- Understand and monitor industry trends and competitive landscape
- Own roadmap and requirements for the Data and Payment products
- Work with engineering leaders to ensure delivery of quality products according to defined timelines
- Ensure that product development and rollout considers the full SDLC considerations, including compliance, support readiness, monitoring, and analytics
- Define and evangelize best-in-class products for the enterprise merchant space
- Manage relationships with key merchants on product needs, and train our internal customer success team and external distribution partners
- Work collaboratively with internal cross functional leaders to support the full product lifecycle
- Be a player/coach and act as the primary business point of contact for your designated portfolio of products
- Be a hands-on, motivational leader supporting your team in their performance and growth within Trustly
- Use data analytics to assess product performance and evaluate impact of new products and features to assess prioritization

Trustly is a fintech platform that makes accepting bank transfers for merchants a simple experience, just like taking card payments. Founded in 2008, the company has grown from just three people to operate offices across Europe and the Americas.
Trustly is a customer of banks, while its customers are merchants who are charged a transaction fee when they receive payments. Thousands of merchants use Trustly, including global players likes Facebook, AT&T, Alibaba, PayPal and TransferWise.
Whilst not a common payment method in certain countries (like the UK), people in many others prefer to pay via bank transfer - so there is a real need for what Trustly is offering. The company has made significant expansion progress, secured some highly advantageous partnerships and acquired SlimPay in 2024 - all suggesting a bright future ahead.
