Role
Who you are
- 1–3 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a similar sales development role, in B2B SaaS
- Good understanding of outbound prospecting, qualification, and KPI-driven sales environments
- Confident communication skills across phone, email, and LinkedIn, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences
- Experience using CRM or sales engagement tools; Salesforce and Gong experience is especially relevant
- Strong ownership, structure, and follow-through when managing accounts, outreach, and handoffs
- Curiosity and openness to using AI tools in daily sales work, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and continuously improve how you research, personalize, and prioritize outreach
Desirable
- Experience selling or prospecting into compliance, legal, HR, risk, or other business stakeholders
- Familiarity with account-based selling, event follow-up, intent signals, or AI-supported sales workflows
- Interest in growing toward an Account Executive or broader commercial role over time

- This is a great opportunity for an SDR with early SaaS experience to grow in a purpose-driven international software company while using modern AI-powered tools to work smarter, personalize better, and build high-quality pipeline
- As part of our Sales team, you will help create high-quality sales opportunities by identifying the right accounts, engaging relevant stakeholders, and handing over well-qualified prospects to Account Executives
- Generate qualified pipeline through targeted outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and events
- Research accounts and contacts to understand business context, compliance priorities, and potential fit
- Qualify prospects using clear discovery around needs, urgency, fit, stakeholders, and next steps
- Maintain accurate activity, account, and handoff notes in Salesforce and Gong
- Partner with Account Executives on account prioritization, outreach strategy, and meeting preparation
- Use EQS’s AI-supported sales stack to improve account research, personalize outreach, streamline workflows, and increase the quality and efficiency of your daily work
- Learn how complex B2B software deals are created and develop toward an Account Executive or broader commercial role over time

Our take
With consumers and investors concerned about the environmental and social impact of corporations and governments increasing regulations on carbon emissions and supply chains, businesses now must report on a range of metrics other than the bottom line. Aside from being the right thing to do, mistakes can be extremely costly both in reputation and in fines. Founded in 2000, EQS Group exists to make corporate compliance, investor relations and ESG reporting easier with its cloud-based EQS Cockpit resource.
The EQS Cockpit allows streamlining of a wide range of compliance processes, including relatively obscure matters such as whistleblower protection which have recently cost firms large amounts of money (see for instance Barclays receiving a $15 million fine along with massive reputational damage for failing to protect a whistleblower). In a time when governments such as Germany are increasing compliance requirements on supply chain to deal with the scourge of human trafficking, such a solution is likely to be particularly appreciated.
As expected of a company providing a much needed enterprise service, EQS Group has been in demand in recent years, seeing an almost 20% increase in revenue over 2022 and adding nearly 250 new corporate customers to its books. This growth is continuing, driven by the introduction of the EU whistleblower directive across the EU member states, a new investment from Thomas Bravo and by EQS Group's continuing marketing efforts as it expands into additional markets.
