Role
Who you are
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in Communication Design and Brand Design
- You are well versed in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, Motion Skills are a plus
- You have a passion for current design trends, you enjoy doing creative research and know your way around AI tools such as Midjourney
- You have a sharp eye for harmonious design and fine layouting details but don’t get lost in them - this allows you to work carefully but also to meet tight deadlines
- You are an excellent communicator and are not afraid to manage senior stakeholders in creative advertising/marketing environments
- You are fluent in English, German is a plus
What the job involves
- Being responsible for the integrity and consistency of our global brand across all touch points for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining our current design systems and contributing to the continuous creative evolution of our brand design
- Developing international brand marketing campaigns in collaboration with our local country teams
- Optimizing brand outputs, such as our CLARK websites
- Managing stakeholders and their expectations as well as owning your projects independently
- Leading internal workshops for design related topics and mentor junior designers
Our take
The insurance sector has been undergoing a period of radical digital transformation over recent years. Gone are the days of imperfect policy fits, time-consuming shopping, and lengthy exchanges with dubious brokers. A wave of startups are making insurance faster, easier, and more on-demand than ever, and the newly minted Unicorn app CLARK is proving to be a major player.
Operating in Germany and Austria, the CLARK app allows insurance customers to manage and monitor all their contracts from a single hub. It works like an independent insurance advisor, keeping users abreast of expiry dates, policy changes, and recommending policy improvements by scanning different rates from over 180 insurers.
The German insurtech market is especially strong relative to its European counterparts, thanks to impressive international investment, careful government regulation, and a fertile, collaborative ecosystem. This has meant, however, that the market has reached a matured period of slower growth and consolidation. This means CLARK has to keep pace with similarly commanding startups like Wefox and INZMO, maintaining its momentum through acquisitions of smaller companies such as SimpleInsurance Broker.
