- A track record of taking ownership and following through on complex initiatives

- Comfortable working independently, but also a team player who contributes to a collaborative culture
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, including 2 years in a high-growth startup
- This is a full time, hybrid position based in our Austin, Texas headquarters with the expectation of 3 days a week in office. Must live in Austin or surrounding areas
What the job involves
- AlertMedia is looking for an impactful FP&A Manager to lead AlertMedia’s FP&A cycle, systems and processes
- You will report directly into the VP, FP&A and will provide day-to-day operational support to AlertMedia and its executive leadership through planning optimization and functionality
- Partner with and present to senior leadership to build and maintain robust financial models that support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather, validate, and synthesize data into actionable insights
- Deliver monthly reporting packages, including budget-to-actual analysis and commentary on key variances
- Execute ad hoc analysis with a sense of urgency, producing clear and insightful outputs that drive decisions
- Rapidly assess large sets of financial and operational data to extract meaningful insights and trends
- Continuously improve models, dashboards, and processes for efficiency, scalability, and clarity
- Proactively identify data gaps, assumptions, or inconsistencies—and take initiative to resolve them before they become problems
