Role
Who you are
- Basic understanding of frontend development and React.js (validated through an interview assignment)
- Familiarity with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
- Interest in design systems and component-driven development
Desirable
- Experience with Shadcn or similar libraries
- Familiarity with Storybook or Figma
What the job involves
- Internship Length: Six months, 40 hours per week
- We’re looking for a motivated Design System Engineer Intern who’s eager to learna and help us build and maintain reusable UI components using Shadcn
- You’ll collaborate with your coach, the design team, and engineers to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability across our product interfaces
- Build and document Shadcn-based components
- Create and maintain a Storybook for component documentation
- Collaborate with your coach, designers, and engineers on reusable component design
- Support engineering teams by managing shared component work
- Ensure accessibility and responsiveness across all components
- Contribute to internal documentation and developer guidelines
