Role
Who you are
- Analytical skills and proficiency with data and excel formula and pivot table
- Experience supporting various verticals of HR
- An innovative problem solver who is proactive and loves to get things done
- Strong interpersonal skills with good intuition
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize workload, and balance multiple tasks at once
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Mac and Google Applications, especially with Sheets, Slides, and Docs
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or another related field
- Expected graduation in 2025/2026
- Fluent in French and English

- Prior internship or extracurricular experience related to HR functions

- We’re looking for a People Intern to join our EMEA People team to support our People activities in France in H1 of 2025
- Support the Sr HR Manager Southern Europe in the management of the France social agenda, in particular through the update of the Economic and Social Data Base “BDES”, the management of the CSE meetings (convocations, minutes, actions follow-up, preparation of the mandatory or specific information and consultations) and the preparation of the annual mandatory consultations
- Provide support on various HR administrative activities
- Collaborate with the Sr HR Manager Southern Europe, the EMEA People team and other cross-functional team members on various EMEA HR Projects aiming at improving employee’s experience
- Work in a fast evolving HR organization and have an opportunity to gain exposure to various HR functions
- Gain knowledge on the tech industry
- Opportunity to network with team members across the People team
- Contribute to a positive team member experience by supporting the People team
- Learn the inner-workings of business and HR operations
Our take
Snap is the social media giant that owns Snapchat, a social media mobile app released in 2011. Created to serve as a more emotive communication form than texting, the app has gained mass popularity, reaching upwards of 400 million daily users worldwide.
After rejecting a billion dollar acquisition from Meta (then Facebook) in 2013, Snap has found itself in competition with the social media giant, particularly with Instagram. Despite this, the company has marked a place for itself in the ever competitive social media space through developing features like a Discover tab, augmented reality lenses, in-app games, ads and monetisation options, as well as launching its paid service, Snapchat+.
Snap has so far not earned an annual profit since going public in 2017, but as Snapchat's user base has continually increased it has nearly closed the gap. Like other tech companies it suffered in late 2022 due to a surprise drop in advertising revenue, but has been rebuilding to its former trajectory since then. Given Snapchat's lasting popularity amongst young people, further success appears likely.
