Who you are
- You have a proven track record of operational B2B sales experience and winning customers (optimizing ARR metrics) in the SaaS industry
- By asking the right questions you can easily get an understanding of the challenges a company faces
- You are a good communicator and have a high capacity for building compelling messages (written & verbal)
- You can prioritize well and work structured & independently in a fast-paced international environment
- You have a passion for and understanding of environmental & sustainability challenges for corporates
- You are based in one of the following countries: Germany, Netherlands, Austria, (or willing to relocate)
- You are comfortable working remotely and happy to travel for business needs
What the job involves
- We are looking for a passionate Account Executive to help us transform every company into a sustainable business, with critical responsibility and influence on our product and overall venture development
- As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by spearheading the expansion of our customer base. - Your role & Responsibilities:
- You are the first point of contact for all companies interested in Cozero
- You are responsible for leading prospects through the sales process and explaining how Cozero sets up their climate control in the most successful way
- You will be a crucial part of our go-to-market strategy helping to further develop the playbook, shape the Cozero platform and create sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge on the features, benefits and application of Cozero’s Climate Action Platform
- Distribute Cozero - Talk to decision makers at leading companies, educate them about effective climate controlling and demonstrate how to succeed with Cozero
- You will be their contact person from the first meeting to contract signature and planning the onboarding
- Understand customer pain points, and requirements and correlate Cozero solutions and customer requirements
- Daily activities in enterprise SaaS sales: All communication with prospects from led generation to getting the deal signed, pipeline management, identifying ICP with a great fit and converting high potential companies into satisfied customers
- Constantly work on improving Cozero's sales playbook
- Channel front-line sales insights into the development of our product & shape our product strategy
- Company growth: We are entering our next phase of growth at Cozero, and we are looking for people with a bias to action and are motivated to build the most amazing things for our customers and employees
Our take
Conflicts in the 2020s and climate change are challenging energy companies, leading to an unprecedented demand for more commitment to renewable raw materials from all stakeholders. For companies, this means it is now no longer a luxury to save CO2 emissions where possible.
Cozero is a software company creating a product to fit that need. The company was founded to enable companies to effectively decarbonize. The startup differentiates itself from competitors by framing these CO2 savings in the language of business - each measure details CO2 saved per Euro invested.
The startup’s next steps will involve pursuing multiple integrations with all types of business software and accounting tools. The more data the platform can touch, the more powerful a tool it will provide.
In the future, Cozero could become a part of company efforts to meet increasingly tight emissions regulations. However, in order to do that, it must be able to prove it can meet the high standards of climate auditors - no mean feat, but one that Cozero will believe its data-first approach can resolve.
