5+ years of combined product management, engineering, or related experience, preferably in platform teams at multi-product companies
An engineering or highly technical background, with proven experience working on technical platform initiatives

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to drive the success of our engineering and product platforms as the first PM on the Platform team
You will focus on enabling our multi-product ecosystem so that we can build with speed, maintain consistency, and ensure a high-quality experience for 2M+ users across our products
As the Platform PM, you'll partner closely with engineering, design, and product teams to develop roadmaps, prioritize projects, and own major platform initiatives
Develop a roadmap for our underlying platform and shared product surface areas in partnership with EPDD leaders
Lead planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization for key platform components, like billing, authentication, and identity
Collaborate with engineering on major platform initiatives to ensure they are delivering great user experiences and coordinated across product teams
Assist with 3rd party vendor evaluations in cases where we may choose to extend our footprin

Homebase provide employees and businesses with time tracking applications, with a range of other HR functionality built in. Homebase automates the process of managing employee scheduling, and also helps companies improve internal communications.

The company contributes to the reduction of paperwork in an office by turning an array of devices into time clocks that track hours and overtime, while also providing payroll support. This makes it easier for companies to remain in sync, running a more efficient operation as a result.

Given that Homebase's customer base of small businesses is not able to pay a lot for its product, scale is the key driver in the company's future success. With over 100,000 customers already, its significant venture capital backing will ensure that the company will be able to grow (notably it's investing in Canadian talent) to provide its services on a profitable scale.
