Who you are

  • 5-10 years of experience in new business development
  • Experience with enterprise sales cycles and in a startup environment
  • Financial services experience preferred

  • Ability to travel monthly for in person meetings, entertainment, and industry events is required

What the job involves

  • We are looking for a Business Development Partnerships professional to join our team!
  • This is an opportunity to have a big impact and partner with the founding team and sales leaders. You’ll be a driver and co-owner for a specific asset class in Setpoint's growing sales organization
  • Work closely with the SVP of Revenue to bring on new business
  • Partner with our Product Managers to drive custom solutions for prospects
  • Perform outreach through our network and initiate conversations with enterprise prospects
  • Attend industry events and build relationships through client entertainment
  • Drive revenue by prospecting and building pipeline while building strong personal relationships with potential clients
  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for the vertical you own
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share with product and marketing teams
  • Leverage your skills and your customers’ experience to continually evolve our product and the sales process

Whilst tech innovations have made applying for a loan far quicker and easier, the next step in the process - the management of the loan - is far more complex and still comparatively archaic in its organization. Originators and lenders use spreadsheets, emails and FTP folders to manage their lending relationships, rendering the process inefficient and prone to errors. Setpoint automates the debt facility management process for lenders.

Founded in 2021, the company claims 98% time saving for lenders, automating data ingestions, calculations and reporting workflows whilst its AI engine computes optimal asset allocation to max ROI. Financial liquidity is increased through access to automated access to third-party reviews and certifications, compliantly accelerating capital access. In short, Setpoint streamlines the second, more oblique stage of the lending relationship.

Focused on the property market, Setpoint’s tech could be expanded to other markets. Its focus on real estate, however, has helped it achieve several impressive funding rounds and a 6x year-over-year revenue growth.
