Who you are
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Professional Experience: At least 7 years of product design experience, with a strong focus on user-centered design
- Design Proficiency: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Research Capability: Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple projects at once
- Leadership and Mentorship: Experience mentoring and coaching other designers
- Project Leadership: Experience leading design projects and teams
What the job involves
- As a Staff Designer on our Practitioner Experience team, you will leverage your expertise in visual and interface design to elevate our platforms
- This is an individual contributor role where your skills will directly influence the design and functionality of critical health technology tools, enhancing user engagement and satisfaction across diverse product divisions
- Implement high-quality design solutions from the initial concept to the final output, focusing on creating intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces
- Though not managing directly, your role as a Craft Leader involves mentoring team members, enhancing their skills in interface design, and fostering a collaborative environment
- Work closely with the design team to refine processes and deliverables, ensuring high standards of design excellence are met consistently
- Act as a key connector across various product divisions, facilitating communication and alignment on design initiatives
- Use your strategic insight to influence project outcomes and contribute to the broader company goals
