Business Development Representative, Octane

• High school degree or equivalent followed by 2+ years experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience during which you gained knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
• Demonstrated ability to make cold calls and talking to new people all day through the use of your excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Persuasive and goal-oriented with an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor with the tenacity to handle rejection
• Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
• Self-motivated and self-directed with a keen ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

• We have an exciting new opportunity on our team for a Business Development Representative to help build out the foundation of our Outdoor Power Equipment market
• Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to dealerships
• Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc; creating and maintaining a database of prospect clients, building pipelines with team members that exceed targets
• Presenting and delivering information to outdoor power equipment dealers
• Answering dealer questions and follow-up call questions
• Successfully closing on Dealer Agreements and scheduling on-boardings
• Maintaining Salesforce dealer information
