Who you are

You are an engineering school (or university) student preparing for a master’s degree in Embedded System Engineering
You have first experience writing low-level software and have knowledge of hardware. You are looking for a challenging internship with a major impact by leading a new topic that will enable faster software development
Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Rust,
Knowledge of Linux-based systems,
Ability to work on shared software projects using Git,
Good level of French and English (oral and written)
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team,

What the job involves

Reporting to Allen, Software Team Lead, you will participate in building a hardware-in-the-loop testing platform for our SATCOM terminals
Assemble and configure the testing environment to replicate real-world conditions for satellite communication systems,
Collaborate with the Hardware team to ensure the setup is integrated smoothly and provide ongoing feedback on product stability,
Develop software to automate the test sequences and collect performance data,
Generate detailed reports based on the test results to support product improvements,
Connect the test setup to the GitLab CI/CD pipeline for continuous automated testing,
Ensure the setup provides accurate and reliable results for performance testing

Greenerwave is a deeptech company pioneering disruptive electromagnetic wave control technology. Founded in 2015, it utilises intelligent materials and algorithms inspired by deep-wave physics to achieve optimised signal quality across telecommunications, enhanced satellite connectivity, and more.

The main way that the company plans to deliver this connectivity is through electronically steerable antennas, that are produced to be more economical, lighter and energy efficient than alternatives. These antennas will facilitate uninterrupted, low-latency connections for uses such as satellite communication and enhanced autonomous driving.

Addressing the increasing demand for connectivity, Greenerwave has a wealth of opportunity before it. Recognised globally, and having recently secured significant funding, the company plans to boost innovation efforts and explore more sectors including AV and defence.
