What the job involves

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the development and operation of our in-house Charge Point Management System (CPMS) and customer-facing app and web portal
Reporting into the Head of Engineering, this role will be responsible for automating and optimizing the infrastructure to ensure stability and scalability during the migration from the incumbent SaaS solution and beyond
Following the migration, the focus will shift to enhancing performance, reliability, and innovation to deliver a market-leading platform
Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform
Containerize services with Docker for scalability and reliability
Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as Sentry, Prometheus or Datadog
Build robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
Manage cloud environments, particularly AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, and RDS
Work on infrastructure enabling OCPP/OCPI protocol support for the CPMS
Develop and maintain incident response plans to quickly resolve system outages
