Who you are
- Proven experience in B2B software sales with a successful track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
- Extensive experience of selling into buyside and sellside banks/Capital Markets
- Strong understanding of the North America market and cultural nuances
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in using data to drive decision-making

What the job involves
- Our Global Sales organisation is managed in a regional model with player coach leaders for the Americas, APAC and EMEA. The team is customer facing quota carriers who have responsibility for the commercial success of our new expansion sales and customer renewals
- We’re seeking a passionate and delivery focused Player Coach Leader to lead our expand sales efforts across the region
- As Director, Sales, North America you’ll be responsible for driving business growth, building, and managing a high-performing account management team, and exceeding revenue targets
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the NAM region, aligning with the company's global sales objectives
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify and cultivate new opportunities, client relationships, and threats
- Oversee the sales pipeline and forecast accuracy, ensuring consistent pipeline growth
- Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing account management team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure individual and team success
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive sales culture that encourages creativity, innovation, and accountability within the team and with global peers
- Revenue Growth:
- Set ambitious revenue targets and drive the team to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the company's market presence within the NAM region
- Negotiate and close complex sales deals with financial institutions and other key clients
- Evaluate and establish strategic relationships with industry partners and decision-makers to enhance the company's market position
- Sales Operations:
- Implement effective sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations and enhance the efficiency of the account management team
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Performance Analysis:
- Regularly analyse sales performance metrics and market trends to provide insights on opportunities for improvement aimed at driving continuous improvement
- Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies

The company also has strong relationships with big-name corporate clients like EY and Finastra - strong evidence of the value of its technology.
Xceptor's main challenge is to compete with other no-code automation software companies. That said, the backing of Astorg should help to ensure this legacy player remains competitive in the years to come. It is moving ahead with further development and securing yet more impressive partnerships, such as with expanding its partnership with Danske Bank in 2025.
