- 2–4 years of experience in customer marketing and advocacy in the cybersecurity industry
- A passion for helping customers shine — and a belief that advocacy should be as valuable for them as it is for us
What the job involves
- In this role, you’ll run Expel’s customer reference and review programs, support key moments in the customer lifecycle with thoughtful campaigns, and bring order to the tools and data that support customer marketing across the company
- You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success—and earn their trust by making their work easier, more effective, and more customer-centric
- This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, keeps tabs on all the moving parts, and gets satisfaction from turning complexity into momentum

- Keep our advocacy tools clean, useful, and actionable — with data hygiene, tagging, and permissions on point
- Track performance, identify what’s working, and bring smart ideas for making it even better
- Manage recognition and gifting programs that celebrate customer achievements and deepen loyalty
- Be a go-to partner across the business for making marketing more customer-centric

As ransomware and hacking threats rise, identifying and resolving breaches in security must be done quickly. Lack of transparency in cyber-security makes it difficult for engineers to detect, understand, and fix the issues as fast as possible. Expel is aiming to redefine what a security operations center and managed detection service looks like in the modern age.
Though the company faces competition from the vast number of cybersecurity platforms, Expel positions itself as a viable alternative to the service delivery model of managed security service providers (MSSPs) by offering a comprehensive management platform that connects to its customers’ tech remotely through APIs, providing fast detection and clear solutions.
