NewDay's business is focused on helping people move forward with credit. They do this through their proprietary credit decisioning capability, best-in-class customer service, and exceptional user experience.
Desirable
NewDay plays an important role in the financial lives of over 5 million people in the United Kingdom. As the UK's fifth largest card issuer it provides a white label credit solution to some of Britain's largest brands, including John Lewis and Argos. It also offers credit directly to consumers under its own Newpay Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), Aqua credit card and Bip digital brands.
A tech-first company, NewDay leverages over 1 trillion customer data points and insights to responsibly offer credit to customers. This has given it a powerful edge against legacy issuers who rely on slower and less accurate credit bureau reports. This performance has led to it winning business away from its less agile rivals, such as the John Lewis Partnership Card contract where NewDay replaced HSBC.
Following on from its success in recent years it is focusing on further improving its product, forming a partnership with Checkout.com to process the £6 billion in payments its customers make each year. This will allow NewDay's infrastructure to scale along with the company's continued growth: something that's sure to be needed as Britain's largest brands continue to turn to NewDay to manage their credit offerings.
