Role
Who you are
- The right candidate will bring experience building beloved consumer products and a passion for disrupting the parenting experience
- 8-10 years of product management experience, preferably in consumer subscription-based products
- Experience working with or within international product organizations, with demonstrated ability to build bridges across team cultures, time zones and functional disciplines
- Deep understanding of product-led growth principles, customer journey mapping, and go-to-market best practices
- Proven track record of leading mobile app development from concept to launch
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, capable of conveying complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Bonus: Experience with IoT devices and understanding of hardware-software integration and personal use of wellness tracking devices
- Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with international team
What the job involves
- We are seeking a strategic and analytical Sr Director, Product to lead and scale the vision of our product experience strategy and mobile application
- This is a critical moment in Nanit’s journey as we expand from insights on child sleep into a broader set of developmental milestones and tools for parents to maximize their child's outcomes
- This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our app and bringing our vision to life for users in an engaging way
- The ideal candidate will also be a critical stakeholder in aligning product innovation with customer and market needs, ensuring seamless coordination between our internationally based product team and internal stakeholders across marketing, sales, customer success and insights, and executive leadership
- Product Experience Vision & Strategy: You'll develop and articulate a comprehensive vision for Nanit's mobile app, aligning with company objectives and customer needs
- Champion the end-to-end customer journey, identifying opportunities to enhance usability, engagement and satisfaction through our Product Roadmap
- Global Product Team Collaboration: Serve as a trusted liaison and international proxy for the international product team, translating regional insights and priorities to global stakeholders
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, User Research, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive product development and launch strategies
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to monitor app performance, user behavior, and subscription metrics, informing iterative improvements
- Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Present product plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership, effectively communicating complex ideas and decisions, while driving alignment

Nanit's technology sets it apart from other infant care industry leaders as it uses a combination of computer vision and specially designed infant clothing to monitor babies' breathing and sleep patterns, with the data being accessible via an easy-to-use app. This has proven to have broad market appeal, to date the company has tracked over 3.5 billion hours of sleep, 435 million parental visits, and over 334 million morning wakeups. As a result, the company has secured considerable funding.
Nanit is currently working to expand its range to encompass all aspects of nursery care, including nightlights and changing pads. This will enable the company to maximize its revenue streams and continue to compete within the growing baby tech market.
