Finance & Strategy Manager, Brooklinen

• 4–7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, consulting, or a related analytical role
• Prior experience supporting consumer, retail, or e-commerce businesses strongly preferred
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with advanced Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
• Ability to analyze raw data, synthesize insights, and communicate clear recommendations
• Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional partners
• Curiosity, ownership mindset, and a desire to continuously improve how things work

• We’re looking for a Finance & Strategy Manager to join our team
• This individual contributor role plays a critical part in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, partnering closely with leaders across the business to support data-driven decision-making
• This role is primarily FP&A-focused, with exposure to strategic analysis and special projects that inform both near-term execution and longer-term planning

• Own core FP&A processes, including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning support
• Build and maintain financial models to analyze business performance, investment opportunities, and trade-offs
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers across revenue, margin, and operating expenses
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations) to incorporate business insights into financial plans
• Support strategic analyses related to growth, pricing, promotions, customer behavior, and product performance
• Prepare clear, executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and materials for senior leadership
• Help improve automation, reporting efficiency, and data quality across finance and analytics workflows
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses and special projects as the business evolves
