Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred
- 4+ years of experience in risk product management, ideally in traditional finance, or cryptocurrency domains
- Familiarity with equities and derivatives (Forwards, Options, Swaps, etc.) product lifecycles
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools such as Jira
- Technical background, especially in risk management software or tools, is highly advantageous
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
What the job involves
- We are looking for a proactive and skilled Product Manager to join our team, focusing on developing our enterprise risk platform used to manage market, credit and liquidity risk
- This role will require establishing a close working relation with risk, trading, lending, and operations teams and we're looking for someone who has had experience in doing so
- Collaborate with the risk team in defining and maintain risk measures (VaR, PFE, CCE, greeks, and stress testing)
- Work with trading teams to setup and maintain portfolio structures, traded instruments, and reference data
- Develop and enhance credit management and inventory management tools
- Work closely with technical teams to design and implement risk management solutions
- Conduct comprehensive market research to stay updated with the latest trends and practices in risk management
- Assist in managing the product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs
- Facilitate team agile ceremonies (stand-ups, grooming, team retrospective, and planning sessions)
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform product development strategies
- Liaise with various stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, ensuring product efficacy and relevance
